9 days in the luscious landscapes of Vietnam! explore an Asian gem - tour the city of Hanoi & its delicacies! Visit the beautiful Cuc Phuong & Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Parks! Day 1 - Saturday, August 11: Hanoi
Fly into Hanoi and our trip officially begins! For today, we have a workout planned. In the evening, we will be having our introductory dinner so we can all get better acquainted, and as a prelude to what is most certainly going to be an awesome time in Vietnam!
Day 2 - Sunday, August 12: Hanoi
We have a mindfulness session first thing in the morning; the yoga will certainly help us get ready for what’s to come. Our first activity is a walking tour of our host city, Hanoi! We’ll be getting to see the sights, and later on, go on a food tour to sample some of the local delicacies!

Day 3 - Monday, August 13: Hanoi > Ninh Binh
Another workout planned to start the day. Later on, we will be in transit and heading to our next destination, Ninh Binh. From there, we will embark on the famous tour of the Trang An Grottoes! This 2-hour trip is primarily by boat, and we’ll be taken to see some of the best sites in Ninh Binh.
Day 4 - Tuesday, August 14: Ninh Binh > Halong Bay
We’ll start today by heading over to Cuc Phuong, the oldest national park in Vietnam. Make sure to bring your camera for this one so you don’t miss out on the enchanting scenery - the Limestone Mountains, green rice-terraces and lush forests to name a few. After that, we will be in transit again, this time for a tour of the famous Halong Bay! We will be spending the night in the bay, aboard our vessel.

Day 5 - Wednesday, August 15: Halong Bay > Phong Nha NP
We will be taking time in the morning to explore some more of Halong Bay. Later on, we’ll be flying out to Dong Hoi and make way to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. One of Vietnam’s many highlights, this national park is riddled with hundreds of cave systems, some of which we will be taking time to explore. Ready for some spelunking?
Day 6 - Thursday, August 16: Phong Nha-Ke Bang NP
It’s finally time to venture deep into the earth! Today, we’ll be going on a tour of the Paradise Cave. This remarkable cave system goes on for 31km. The scale is breathtaking, colossal stalagmites and glimmering stalactites scattered about the area. After our little underground excursion, we’ll be hiking through the Botanical Gardens. Later on, a little out-of-the-way trip to the Duck Stop! Run by a family of farmers, we’ll get to spend some quality time with our feathered friends. We hope you’re excited to play Chuck-A-Duck!
Day 7 - Friday, August 17: Phong Nha-Ke Bang NP
We will be going on another cave tour today, this time into Hang En cave, the 3rd largest cave in the world! On the way there, we will pay a visit to Ban Doong village where we will get to meet the welcoming villagers, as well as get a glimpse of a way of life that has remained unchanged for centuries. After Ban Doong village, we will pass through rich forests, rivers and streams, and along the river valley, until we reach Hang En. After a quick rest and taking time to set up camp, we will proceed to explore further into the cave. Later on in the evening, you can enjoy your downtime or take a swim in the natural pool that is right next to our campsite.
Day 8 - Saturday, August 18: Phong Nha-Ke Bang NP
Big day ahead of us as we prepare to make the journey back to civilization. Depart from Hang En - taking one last look as it vanishes into the jungle view, and back down through the river valley. Take in the scenery as we make our way back, and get ready for an uphill hike towards our pickup point.
Day 9 - Sunday, August 19: Phong Nha-Ke Bang NP
The final day of our trip, so let’s wrap it up! We’ve still got a little ways to go as we make our way back and catch our flights out. Along the way, we’ll be able to talk all about our exciting adventures, all the while celebrating the many new friendships made and a definitely unforgettable trip!
