Day 1 - Tuesday, November 1: Boracay
Arrive in the Philippines this morning and into the tropical paradise that is Boracay. Use your first day to take in some of the sights from the famous Talipapa markets or check out the world-famous powdery sand and cool blue waters of the 4-kilometer stretch of White Beach. Touch base with the exciting local activities or simply lounge first before our first group WOD together. Following that we will head our for our first group dinner to get to know each other before setting off on our getaway of a lifetime in the coming days.

Day 2 - Wednesday, November 2: Boracay
Spend the day training with and learning from one of the best weightlifters in the world, world champion, Olympic silver medalist and GRID athlete Dmitry Klokov. Dmitry will be teaching us the subtle nuances of both classic lifts, the snatch and the clean and jerk using techniques honed from his time training in the Russian weightlifting system.
Day 3 - Thursday, November 3: Boracay
Today we will enjoy learning a new skill, freediving! Challenge yourself this morning in the waters of Boracay, and after that enjoy a WOD in the afternoon. You can explore the island more in the evening and perhaps enjoy a relaxing dinner by the beach. You can opt to head out further and enjoy the nightlife or you can choose to spend the rest of the evening relaxing at the hotel.
Day 4 - Friday, November 4: Boracay
Up early for some yoga or just enjoy a sleep in because we are going for a morning of Ziplining! After that, be ready to boat it out and hop through the nearby destinations around the island. We will snorkel through the waters, visit and explore Puka Beach with its one-of-a-kind Shells. In the evening, we can organise a cooking class for you to learn how to whip up the best of Philippine cuisine, and eat too afterwards!

Day 5 - Saturday, November 5: Boracay
Wake early for some optional morning yoga, then head out in the mid-morning to Ariel's Point for some exciting cliff jumping!! After your day of adventure, either retire back to your digs after dinner or head out to one of the most famous bars in the island for a few drinks with your new friends.
Day 6 - Sunday, November 6: Boracay
Enjoy the island in any way you feel the need on the last day. Some suggested activities you can go for would be a very relaxed climb up Boracay's Mount Luho, rent out an ATV, go helmet diving, before enjoying the last evening of our trip.
Day 7 - Monday, November 7: Boracay
Today we wrap it up for our trip. Time to look back on an amazing week filled with sun, sand and adventures. With many new friendships made. Not to mention the experience of training with world champions, yoga and all the workouts combine for your epic tropical island getaway.
Dmitry is a Russian weightlifter who competed in the 105 kg category. He won the world championships in 2005 with a 419 kg total, snatching 192 kg and clean and jerking 227 kg. He won the silver medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in the men's 105 kg category with a total of 423 kg. Recently, Dmitry has retired from the sport of weightlifting and has found fame bringing his enthusiastic style of weightlifting to all corners of the globe. One of the great showmen of the world of weightlifting with amazing strength second to none, Dmitry joins us as a guest coach for a weightlifting seminar on our Philippines trip.
